Planning and listed building consent is expected soon for the conversion of the Old Provisions Market in Llandeilo. Following successfully gaining permission for a scheme including a spectacular rooftop restaurant a few years ago, the current scheme for Carmarthenshire County Council includes a café and office space within the building’s walls and also in a contemporary extension at roof level, with the building set to become a home for small firms and events, as well as a popular eatery, bringing this iconic listed building back to use after years of neglect. The £4 million project is being funded by Carmarthenshire County Council and the Welsh Government’s Building for a Future initiative.

We are looking forward to starting work with the successful contractor after Christmas and to the building once again becoming a vital hub in the centre of the town.
