This development by Hurlow Construction of Tenby was started earlier this year. The two original 2 room cottages on the site were occupied in the 1900’s by workers who attended the nearby colliery and the manager lived in the adjacent building.
One family consisted 9 in total, so it was a tight squeeze in the two room cottages! As you can see, the cottages have been renovated and extended into two family homes. The existing cottage structure remains, but has been carefully renovated, particularly inside, where the developer has chosen to lime render the walls and keep the characteristic lines of the old stone walls. PDL are delighted that they now have the opportunity to develop the remainder of the site behind the cottages, which has open countryside views. PDL and Hurlow Construction have been associated with many successful projects over a 25 year period, and look forward to working together once again on this exciting project.
